Chicken Keepers and Produce Pickers
Eggs, Chickens, and Vegetables Oh My! Our days are full of fun here on the farm and each season brings with it new offerings. We love the variety of things we grow. We have recently started selling at Farmer's Markets in our area and enjoy talking with people about the different options.
Poultry
We raise egg laying chickens, meat chickens, and turkeys. Most of the meat chickens and turkeys that we raise are just for our family but we hope to expand this option soon to our customers. Our egg laying chickens lay many different colored eggs. Pink, brown, blue/green, and white are the most common ones we get. This always makes for good conversation when people buy them for the first time. No matter what color the outside is the inside is always delicious and filled with the most beautiful yellow yolk. Our chickens and turkeys spend most of the Spring, Summer, and Fall in our chicken tractors. They love the grass, bugs, and garden scraps.

Produce
Our family loves fruits and vegetables. Each day begins with picking what is ripe and it always amazes me what doesn't make it into the kitchen :) We grow so many yummy things and my children tend to help themselves. We grow some traditional fruits and vegetables like potatoes, onions, beans, peas, corn, strawberries, and tomatoes. We also grow some things that not everyone has tried like aronia berries and white Carolina pineberries. Each year we expand our offerings and are always looking for feedback to see what our customers would like us to grow.
